Science Teaching Rationales - Class of 2011



In class, we worked together to build and compare walls that contain elements that make up our visions of teaching. A teaching rationale or philosophy is a way for you to "sum up" your views on education and how you plan to allow these beliefs to influence your teaching. You will have several opportunities to revise these pages throughout the year.

Note: Remember to attach a photo of your Visions of Teaching wall from last week's class.

  • EDUC667 Wiki - This wiki page created in a University of Delaware (I think) course includes several links to pages that provide good overviews to the task of writing a teaching philosophy. There are also several drafts of philosophies written by the students were were taking the class.
